Record RP2000 Mini Chuck Package
Made from high quality steel to exacting standards, this four jaw
geared scroll chuck is the ideal choice for beginners or more
experienced turners who regularly work with small objects. Supplied
complete with four sets of jaws and a handy woodscrew
chuck.
The RP2000 midi-chuck is only 62mm in diameter, facilitating easy
access to workpieces, allowing fine and delicate
work to be carried out more easily than with a larger chuck, which
can sometimes make access to small projects, such as pens
difficult. However, the smallness of this chuck does not hinder its
verstility as it is capable of holding larger work and can
be used to turn bowls uo to 12 inches in diameter, making it a great
all round tool. Five Year Warranty. 3/4 x 16 TPI only. Jaws Supplied: General Purpose Jaws: Featuring teeth to aid internal
and external gripping. These jaws have an internal grip of 24mm and
an
external grip of 35mm. Wide Grip Jaws: Suitable for holding larger pieces of work, these
jaws also have an internal and external face to give extra grip.
The internal grip is 55mm and the external grip is 24mm. Pin Jaws: Designed for holding small pices of work
such as pens, these jaws feature teeth for extra hold on the external
face
and can hold internally pieces as small as 5mm, while the external
grip is 24mm. Stepped Jaws: Featuring two diameters to allow for
greater flexibility. The internal and external faces feature teeth
for superior
gripping. Internal grip is 3mm, while the external grip is 18mm and
31mm.

Nova G3 Geared Scroll Chuck
Ideal for lathes up to 15" capacity, providing
high quality, geared chuck power for smaller lathes. Easy one handed
key operation in compact, precise and economic package, well suited
to the novice turner.
This chuck should not be confused with the sea of far eastern copies
of more expensive chucks. This is a high-tech,
precision engineered chuck designed specifically as an accurate and
powerful work holding system for small and intermediate lathes up
to about 15" capacity. The light, compact
design minimises loads on smaller spindles and
bearings and the standardised jaw and insert interface take the same
accessory range as the other Nova chucks,
to deliver you maximum versatility (though some of the larger jaws
are better suited to the Supernova 2 body).
Precision machined on CNC machinery the G3 is very accurate, with
a fast, precise and powerful geared action.
Built to the same exacting standards as the Supernova 2 it also shares
many features found on more expensive
chucks, such as auto jaw stop, copper composite jaw slides, a newly
designed woodworm screw and versatile
50mm jaws as standard. With a one handed, geared handle it is easy
and efficient to mount pieces and the 4 jaw system is very forgiving
of spigot and recess tolerances, making mounting much easier, even
for new turners.
Five year guarantee.
