| BCT 1/2" Supercut Junior | The Supercut Junior is an low cost hollowing tool system,
engineered to include a pre-set fixed cutter angle but using the
unique BCT cutter. A single articulated head is fitted giving horizontal
adjustment for simple hollowing and undercutting operations, this
has been found to give excellent results when both roughing and finishing
over a wide range of wet or dry woods, both cross and end course. Features include a square shank for positive control. Single key adjustment for hooking operations. Long life purpose designed HSS cutter giving up to six times life compared with a similar gouge. The tool system is supplied complete with tool kit and instruction leaflet. Supercut Junior is ready to use, no pre-preparation being necessary. As used by Sue Harker in many of her Demonstrations.  |

This tool enhances turned pieces by producing a myriad
of different textures. It can be used to create unique effects that
alter the tactile and visual quailities of bowls, hollow forms, goblets
or boxes. Orange peel, striated and ribbed patterns are all possible. Some of the effects are subtle some are coarse and aggressive depending on the angle of the cutter as it makes contact with the wood and pressure applied. The effects vary considerably depending on the type of wood used, wether it is a spindle, bowl or end grain work and the angle at which the tool is presented. More variations are possible with the application of dyes, liming waxes and flame scoring, all of which create interesting contrasts. |

This tool is designed to add decorations such as spirals to turned
pieces, enabling you to create both left and right handed
spirals with ease. It features an innovative reat with indexed reference
positions, which enable the replication of the
spirals. Differing pitch and twist profiles are made possible by altering the presentation angle of the cutter or by changing the cutter. The texturing tool is part of the system as well as a graduated rest, 2mm, 4mm and 6mm spiralling cutters. | Hollowmaster RS230KT |
The hollowmaster is the perfect complement to the Multi tip Hollowing
Tool. It uses the same unique design of a meaty 3/4" flat
shank which when laid on the tool rest gives ample support to prevent
the tool from being turned over by the rotation of
the wood. Its swan neck design means that the Hollowmaster can reach those spots which are often difficult to reach. Like the Multi Tip Hollowing Tool, the Hollowmaster also has interchangeable tips. Comes with 2 cutters, for hollowing there is a rounded tip (RS211C) to give a nice sweeping curve in the vessel, and for fine finishing there is a full round scraper cutter (RS230C). Both tips are sharpened by means of a diamond file. |
